Coach Tony Bannister is the founder and President of Young Christians in Action Youth Sports, the AAU Jacksonville Rams and the Melbourne Bulls & Cheerleading Team.

Coach Bannister is an inductee of the 2019 Sunshine Independent Athletic Association (SIAA) Basketball Hall of Fame. He is also currently serving as the National Director of the State of Florida for the Phenom Basketball  National Camp.

As one of the most decorated high school and AAU coaches in the country, he is the only coach in the State of Florida to win a  high school state championship with a predominantly middle school team at Shekinah Christian Academy in 2006. He then moved to the Potter's House Christian Academy where he built a nationally ranked powerhouse team that traveled all across the country to play the best competition around. The Potter's House Lady Lions won 11 consecutive SIAA state championships and 8 national championships., while being ranked nationally in the top 20 for high school girls basketball teams. 

Coach Bannister's AAU teams, the Jacksonville Lady Rams, also have been among the best in the nation for over 20 years.  The boys teams, Melbourne Bulls and Jacksonville Rams are also nationally known and produce some of the top talent in the country. His son TJ Bannister, played professionally for 10 years, and his daughter, Antoinette Bannister (Phenom alumni) plays professionally in Albania, and will be joining the Athletes Unlimited in Dallas, TX for the second season.

Coach Bannister is currently running his own basketball training and consulting group for kids in the 2nd grade through to the pro-level. He is also developing and mentoring coaches on how to build a winning program.
